How does voice capture work?

Tap the microphone button from any screen, speak naturally about your work (e.g. "Spent 3 hours at the Henderson job, bought $420 of parts from Reece"), and ToolsMate will automatically extract expenses, time entries, and job updates. You'll get a chance to review and confirm before anything is saved.
What if I'm offline when I record a voice note?

No worries — ToolsMate stores your recording locally on your phone and automatically uploads and processes it when you're back online. You'll see a notification once it's been processed.
How do I connect Xero?

Go to Settings > Integrations and click 'Connect' next to Xero. You'll be redirected to Xero to authorise the connection. Once connected, your expenses, invoices, and contacts will sync automatically.
Can I generate quotes with my voice?

Yes! From a job page, tap the microphone and describe the work. ToolsMate's AI will ask qualifying questions (up to 5), then generate a professional quote with line items, GST, and your business details. You can review and edit before sending.
How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days of full access with no credit card required. At the end of your trial, you can subscribe to continue. If you don't subscribe, you'll have 30 days of read-only access to export your data.
What's included in each pricing tier?

How do referrals work?

Share your unique referral code with a mate. When they sign up and subscribe, you both get a free month credited to your account. You can find your code in your profile or dashboard.
Is my data secure?

Yes. ToolsMate uses Supabase (enterprise PostgreSQL) with row-level security, encrypted connections (TLS 1.3), and Australian-based data residency. All API endpoints are authenticated and rate-limited. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use ToolsMate on my phone?

Absolutely — ToolsMate is designed mobile-first. Visit toolsmate.com.au on your phone and add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Manage subscription'. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
